Headache is a common problem experienced by most people. Generally speaking, there are 3 main types of headaches – tension headache, migraine headache and cluster headache.
Tension-
Although you can get rid of a headache using medication, painkillers or drugs, they often have potential side effects. Hence, it is better to use natural home remedies to cure headaches.
The first headache home remedy is very simple; it requires you to eat an apple with salt, first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. Do this regularly for about a week, it should help you to stay away from headaches.
Drinking a cup of tea with the juice of three to four lemon slices is very effective home remedy to cure headaches. You can also make a fine paste out of the lemon peels and apply to your forehead. This will give you the much needed relief. You can also crush henna flower in vinegar and apply this concoction on your head to cure headaches.
Aromatherapy is the most potent headache home remedy. You can add about 10 drops of the eucalyptus oil in a large bowl of hot water and inhale the steam deeply. It is really good for sinus headache treatment.
Applying rosemary oil, almond oil, coconut oil, on head while doing slight massage is also a great natural home remedy to effectively cure as well as prevent headache. Increased blood circulation and oxygen to the brain and is beneficial in treating headaches.
You can also get relief with this scientifically proved treatment for migraine headache. Mix 200ml of spinach juice in 300ml of carrot juice. Drink this juice concoction regularly. You may want to mix 100ml of beet juice in 300ml of carrot juice to avoid a migraine attack.
You can also put your legs in a bucket of hot water for about 10 minutes before going to bed every night Try this method for 2 to 3 weeks as on regular basis as it is known to be the best home remedy for headaches.
Stress is an obvious trigger for most headaches so take time out to relax. Close
your eyes, take deep breaths and clear your mind to release negative energy. Or,
you can do just anything that makes you feel relaxed. Try yoga or have a warm bath
before going to bed. Remember, getting enough exercise and sleep is also crucial
