A quick and easy prawn stir-
(serves 4)
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon sesame oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon fresh ginger root, minced
1 pound fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined
3 ounces bamboo shoots, cut into thin strips
4 large button mushrooms, quartered
1 green bell pepper, cut into small pieces
1 medium carrot, peeled and cut into small pieces
salt and white pepper, to taste
1. Place sesame oil in a wok; heat over medium-
2. Add garlic and ginger. Fry until fragrant and golden brown. This should take about 30 seconds.
3. Add shrimps, and stir-
4. Reduce heat to medium, and add all the vegetables. Stir-
5. Add seasonings, and then turn off heat.
