(serves 4)
Ingredients:

10 ounces minced beef
4 cloves garlic, finely minced

2 teaspoons soy sauce
2 medium carrots, cut into thin strips
2 medium Japanese cucumbers
4 fresh shiitake mushrooms, stem removed and sliced
5 ounces bean sprouts, tailed
4 eggs
4 cups cooked rice
4 teaspoons Korean hot bean paste (gochujang)
How to cook bibimap:
1. Place 2 tablespoons oil in a wok; heat over medium heat.
2. Add minced beef, garlic, ginger and soy sauce. Stir-

6. Spoon equal portions of cooked vegetables and beef around the egg in each bowl. Place 1 teaspoon of hot bean sauce.
7. Bibimbap is now ready to be enjoyed! To eat, mix the rice with all ingredients thoroughly.
