3. Lemon juice is another home treatment to get rid of acne blemishes. As a natural bleach, lemon reduces melanin buildup and fades acne scars.

Squeeze a lemon and apply it on the scars, using a Q-tip. Leave it on for about 10 to 15 minutes.

Be aware that lemon juice can result in dry skin and photosensitivity so make sure you wear a sunscreen and moisturizer after you rinse.

4. Honey is also good as a home remedy to treat acne marks. Apply honey on your face and leave it on for about 20 to 30 minutes before rinsing.

Honey moisturizes your face, improve skin texture and reduce scars. You can also take manuka honey orally to help remove acne scars.

Whichever home remedy you use to get rid of acne scars, remember that acne scar removal needs constant and consistent efforts. So, be patient and practice a good acne skin care regimen to stay scar-free.
