Age spots, also called liver spots, senile lentigines, or solar lentigines are a common problem in people over 40 but they may also appear in younger individuals. Age spots are flat, gray, brown or black spots caused by either age or sun exposure.
They often appear on the hands, face, back and feet. Although true age spots are
harmless and do not require treatment, many people find them unsightly and opt to
lighten age spots with skin-
1. Vinegar is chemically acetic acid, and has whitening and brightening properties. It can also make your skin smoother and more radiant.

4. Prevention is better than cure. The best way to prevent age spots is to protect your skin from the sun.
Wearing a sunscreen with a minimum SFP of 15 or more, protective clothing, and limiting sun exposure will drastically reduce your chances of developing age spots as well as to prevent the ones that you already have on your face from getting darker.
