Brown Sugar Body Polish Recipe
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup white granulated sugar
¾ cup macadamia nut oil base (Macadamia nut oil has a nutty odor, thick consistency,
and leaves a an oily film on the skin. Very good for people with dry skin. You can
also use almond, soybean, or hazelnut)
2 teaspoons cinnamon, powdered
2 teaspoons ginger, powered
2 teaspoons nutmeg, powdered
40 drops cardamom essential oil
How to make brown sugar body scrub
1. Place brown sugar, white sugar, cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg in a medium bowl.
Blend all ingredients together with a whisk, make sure to break up any lumps.
2. Add macadamia nut oil and cardamom oil, drop by drop. Blend after each addition.
3. Transfer your DIY body scrub into an air-tight container or a glass jar.
To use, scoop out ¼ -½ cup of your homemade body polish and massage onto wet skin
using circular motions. Rinse off completely to reveal smoother, softer skin.
