Most women use the eyelash curler to make lashes curly. However, if you aren't careful, you might accidentally pinch your eyes or rip your lashes out in the process. Here's how to curl lashes without eyelash curler. Natural looking curly lashes, no ouchs!
The safest and simplest trick to curl eyelashes is to use your fingers.
First apply a coat of mascara as you normally would, making sure that you roll (or
in a zig-
Wait for it to dry completely before you apply a second coat of mascara to further enhance the effect.
Before the second coat of mascara dries, rub your fingers together to make them as warm as possible. Now, place the tips of your fingers under your lashes, and push them up.
Hold your fingers against your eyelashes for about 15 to 20 seconds. Repeat this eyelash curling trick until you get the curled lashes.
It's important to keep the tips of your fingers warm – the warmer your fingers, the faster the curling effects.
If your hands are cold, you can speed up the warming process by running your fingers under hot water for a few seconds or by pointing a warm hair blow dryer close to your fingers.
Spoons also give great curling effects. Prepare your lashes by applying a thin layer of light talcum, loose face powder or baby powder on your eyelashes so that they won't clump together.
Then, apply mascara. Apply a second layer, if you want.
Heat up a clean spoon in warm water. You can also rub the spoon with your fingers or hold it over a heat source (blow dryer) for a few seconds.
Remove the spoon from warm water and wipe dry with a clean towel. Make sure the spoon is warm, not hot. You wouldn't want to burn your skin.
Hold the handle of the spoon and place the curved or underside of the spoon towards you above your eyelashes.
Starting from one end, press the underneath of your eyelashes firmly with your thumb against the edge of the spoon for about 10 seconds. Release your thumb, and then repeat the step until all sections of each eyelash until you get the curl you desire.
To avoid any accidentally pulling or breaking of your lashes, make sure you keep the spoon still while you press your eyelashes with your thumb.
Try these eyelash curling tricks and see the great results for yourself – your lashes curl naturally without the stiff crimped appearance you would normally get from an eyelash curler. And, you'll also notice that your lashes stay curled longer.
