We can't deny that long and healthy hair adds charm and elegance to a woman. However, with increasing length, hair is also more prone to damage and breakage. There are many factors that weakens your hair and cause it to fall out. While there are no shortcuts to make your hair grow faster and longer, there are some really easy things which you can do to grow the best hair you can quickly.

 

Keep your hair clean with regular shampooing and conditioning. An oily scalp can clog hair follicles and keep your hair from growing faster while a clean scalp prevent blemishes and irritations that can inhibit or effect hair growth.

 

In addition, well-conditioned hair helps reduce the loss of length due to breakage and prevent split ends.

 

Be sure to use good quality products that are suitable for your hair type, and be gentle when you wash.

 

Using hot rollers, a blow dryer or a curling iron is no good. When hair is exposed to too much heat, it gets damaged and hence effect your hair growth.

 

Similarly, using excess hair dyes can cause breakage which makes it difficult to maintain longer hair. If you want to make your hair grow faster, keep your usage of these heating appliances to only a couple of times a week. Allow your hair to dry naturally is a smarter option.

 

Your diet plays an important role in hair growth. There are certain vitamins and minerals which will actually make your hair grow faster.

 

Include nutritious food such as dark green leafy vegetables, fruits and grains in your diet. You may also want to take vitamin supplements, specifically Biotin and B-Complexes to make your hair grow quickly. This will also help if you're experiencing thinning hair.  

 

A healthy diet can help improve the appearance of your hair. Aim for a low fat diet since saturated fats can cause hormonal imbalance.
