Excessive underam sweating is a common affliction faced by many. It is estimated that at least one person in every hundred suffers from excessive armpit perspiration, a condition called Axillary Hyperhidrosis.
Sweating occurs naturally in the body to keep you cool in hot weather, during a fever or when you exercise. However, it becomes a problem when there is an abnormal increase in perspiration even when you are not hot, anxious or exercising.

2. Lemon juice is another great home remedy for excessive underarm sweating. Lemon eliminates bad odor and also reduces the sweating to a great extent.
Apply it on your armpits before you go to bed, and wash thoroughly with water the next morning.

5. Taking five or six showers daily is common for sufferers of armpit sweating. If you find soaps drying for the skin, talc or baby powder can be used as a temporary solution as the power will absorb the sweat and keep sweaty underarms dry.
6. Stress and anxiety about excessive armpit sweating can in turn aggravate the sweating problem. Learning how to relax and manage stress can work wonders for sweaty underarms.
Staying calm will keep your sweat glands from producing excessive perspiration than they should.
7. To stop armpit sweat, you can go for prescription antiperspirants like Drysol. It contains aluminum chloride and ethyl alcohol, which is very effective for most Axillary Hyperhidrosis sufferers.
However, some people may experience side effects such as a burning sensation and skin irritations.
If these natural home remedies for excessive underarm sweating do not get rid of your embarrassing sweat problem, you might want to seek a surgical cure for Axillary Hyperhidrosis.
