Ask any kid what's his favorite food is, I bet most of the time you get burgers for an answer. Traditional burgers made with ground beef can be unhealthy for growing bodies. To start kids adopt healthy eating habits early, I've a burger recipe which is surprisingly easy to prepare and super yummy. What's also great about this burger recipe – it's a smart way to sneak in some veggies and fish into any picky eater’s diet.
(serves 4)
Ingredients:
2 to 3 slices wholemeal bread, torn

5 tablespoons grated cheddar cheese
3 stalks spring onion, finely chopped
salt and pepper to taste
1 whole egg, beaten
2 tablespoon olive oil
4 wholegrain bread rolls
lettuce, torn
tomato slices
mustard
Put the bread in a food processor and process into crumbs. Transfer to a mixing bowl, set aside.
Put half the sweet corn into food processor and process until finely chopped.
Combined chopped corn, remaining whole corn, tuna, cheese, spring onions, salt and pepper with the breadcrumbs and mix well.
Add in beaten egg, a little at a time (you need not use all the egg) until the mixture is sticky enough to be shaped into four burgers.
Heat oil in a non-
Place burger on wholemeal buns together with torn lettuce, tomato slices and some mustard.
*To make burgers even healthier, you can also bake or grill them.
